Wouter J. Hanegraaff (1961) is Professor of History of Hermetic Philosophy and Related Currents at the University of Amsterdam. Next to countless articles and book chapters, he is the author of seven monographs about esoteric and Hermetic traditions and editor of the 1200-page Dictionary of Gnosis and Western Esotericism.
